Kenneth Green Associates

Aduro partnered with Kenneth Green Associates (KGA) to build the Consultant Area — a private training and operations portal for the UK fragrance and beauty consultants who represent KGA's brand portfolio in stores nationwide. Designed by ui loco and Darby Manning, with Aduro leading architecture, engineering and delivery and ui loco on frontend engineering. For over 35 years, KGA has built its reputation on product knowledge and relationships in the industry. The Consultant Area extends that into a digital platform where consultants access brand training, prove their expertise, and stay current on merchandising and operational requirements.
Years in fragrance Consultant network Training & operations
A consultant hub, not a document dump
Consultants work across department stores, specialty retailers and beauty halls — often representing multiple brands on behalf of KGA. They need a single place to check the latest visual merchandising updates, find training materials, RSVP to store events, and complete HR paperwork without hunting through email threads.
The Consultant Area opens on a personalised home screen with featured campaigns, latest VM news, and notification badges for outstanding quizzes, event invitations and feedback requests. Navigation is organised around how consultants actually work — brands, quizzes, visual merchandising, store events, HR forms and incentives — rather than how content happens to be filed internally.

Brand hubs that carry the full story
Each fragrance and beauty brand in KGA's portfolio has its own hub — about copy, training videos, downloadable notes, merchandising guidelines, social assets and links to brand websites. Consultants can browse product galleries, like shared imagery, and access the resources they need before a shift on the shop floor.
The architecture treats every brand as a structured content entity with its own training pathway, rather than a flat list of PDFs. That lets KGA onboard new brand partners quickly — publishing guidelines, video content and quiz material in one place as soon as a distribution deal goes live.

Quizzes that prove product knowledge
Brand training is only valuable if consultants retain it. KGA runs timed, multi-question quizzes per brand — with instant feedback, progress tracking, and a network-wide leaderboard ranked by accuracy. Leaderboards show consultant name alongside store and location, turning product knowledge into something consultants can see and improve against their peers.
Notification badges surface incomplete quizzes on login, and administrators can export per-consultant analytics — page activity and quiz scores — to PDF or Excel for training team reporting. The scoring model was designed around one clear principle: consultants should know immediately whether they got it right, and KGA should be able to measure knowledge across the network without manual mark sheets.

Events, merchandising and operational workflows
Beyond brand training, the platform supports the operational side of a consultant network. Store events carry RSVP workflows with attendance tracking and post-event feedback. Visual merchandising has its own section — hero campaigns, guideline downloads, image galleries and team contacts. HR documents and forms — uniform orders, starter paperwork, GDPR consent, customer invitations — are available through a taxonomy-driven document library, many with in-platform form workflows that pre-fill consultant details.
Secure access for a private network
The Consultant Area is a gated portal — registration requires approval, profiles capture store details before full access is granted, and GDPR consent and terms acceptance are tracked per user. Role-based navigation separates consultant and subscriber experiences, and quiz data is tied to authenticated accounts so performance reporting stays attributable.
From brand hubs and timed quizzes through to VM news, event RSVPs and HR forms, the Consultant Area is how KGA keeps a UK-wide consultant network trained, informed and aligned — with one platform behind the relationships that have defined the business for over three decades.
Key Results
Kenneth Green Associates distributes niche and premium fragrance and beauty brands across the UK, Channel Islands and Republic of Ireland — relying on store-based consultants to represent those brands on the shop floor.
Aduro designed and built the Consultant Area so training, merchandising standards, events, documents and performance tracking could live in one secure platform — rather than scattered across email, PDFs and disconnected tools.
